The seven-year construction period for Presidio Del Mar presented several challenges, one of the more critical being how to get a potable water supply to the property since there is no city main supply.  This was solved by building 100,000 gallon reservoir underneath the foundation, which in turn is fed by rain water collected and directed from the roof tops.  The water collected is processed through three filtration systems, resulting in an absolutely pure, endless water supply that is free forever!  Another challenge was the windows and doors that had to be hurricane strength and came at a price tag of $1,250,000!
